Katie Lambert, MSTN, NTC

Originally from Louisiana, Katie moved to the Sierra in 2006 and has called Bishop since. Lambert is a professional rock climber who holds a Masters degree in Traditional Nutrition with a special interest in Type II Diabetes Prevention and is a Nutritional Therapist. She has worked with food and nutrition for over a decade and is head cook and holistic nutritionist for Sacred Rok <www.SacredRok.org>, a youth focused non-profit based in Yosemite. Her personal experiences with using food as medicine combined with her studies have provided Lambert with a wealth of knowledge on how to best nourish and heal the body with real, whole and traditional foods.
